Extended Care

Our Extended Care program serves the families in our school community by offering a nurturing, neighborhood-like environment consistent with the principles of Waldorf education. We have one program for children in nursery school, and a second for children in kindergarten through fifth grades.

We provide a harmonious multi-age environment with rhythm and structure, as well as many opportunities for free play. The atmosphere is relaxed and home-like and children enjoy nurturing play such as indoor and outdoor games, sand play, cooking and baking, crafts and other seasonal activities. Wooden toys, games, and books are available for indoor use.

The Kindergarten-Grade 5 Extended Care program has its own dedicated space with a kitchen adjacent to a spacious playground and field.
