Head Coach, High School Girls’ Volleyball

Fall 2019-2020 season: September 5, 2019  to October 24, 2019.

If you are passionate and devoted to inspiring children through volleyball, we welcome you to apply for this position at Waldorf School of the Peninsula.

Position Summary
— This part-time position serves as the Head Coach for High School Girls Volleyball for Grades 9 -12.
— Practices are held Monday and Wednesdays 4:00 – 6:00 pm in Palo Alto.
— Games are held in various locations on the Peninsula and in the South Bay, midweek, with start times between 3:30 – 6:00 pm (approx 8 season games)
— This position requires some transportation of players to and from games and practices in school vehicles when needed.

Position Requirements
— Experience playing and/or teaching volleyball.
— An understanding of the fundamental skills, successful tactics, strategies, and rules involved in this sport.
— Strong communications skills via email, phone, and in person
— Complete DOJ and FBI live-scan fingerprinting prior to the start of service (the school provides assistance with this).
— Complete TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire.
— Valid photo ID, proof of age, and authorization to work in the United States.
— Valid driver’s license and providing DMV evidence of a clean driving record.
— Ability to work well with others on a team

The coaching stipend for the part-time position is $1,500 – $2,000 depending on experience.

Head Coach, Middle School Girls’ Volleyball

Fall 2019-2020 season: September 5, 2019  to October 19, 2019.

If you are passionate and devoted to inspiring children through volleyball, we welcome you to apply for this position at Waldorf School of the Peninsula.

Position Summary
— This part-time position serves as the Head Coach for Middle School Girls Volleyball for Grades 6 -8.
— Practices are held Monday and Wednesdays 4:00-6:00 pm in Palo Alto.
— Games are held in various locations on the Peninsula and in the South Bay,
    midweek, with start times between 3:00 – 4:00 pm (approx 8 season games)
— This position requires some transportation of players to and from games and practices in school vehicles when needed.

Head Coach, High School Boys Basketball

Fall 2019-2020 season: October 29, 2019 to February 11, 2020.

If you are passionate and devoted to inspiring children through basketball, we welcome you to apply for this position at Waldorf School of the Peninsula.

Position Summary
— This part-time position serves as the Head Coach for High School Boys Basketball for Grades 9 -12.
— Practices are held Tuesday and Thursdays 4:00 – 6:00 pm in Palo Alto.
— Games are held in various locations on the Peninsula and in the South Bay,
midweek, with start times between 4:00 – 6:00 pm (approx 10 season games)
— This position requires some transportation of players to and from games and practices in school vehicles when needed.

Position Requirements
— Experience playing and/or teaching basketball.
— An understanding of the fundamental skills, successful tactics, strategies, and rules involved in this sport.
— Strong communications skills via email, phone, and in person
— Complete DOJ and FBI live-scan fingerprinting prior to the start of service (the school provides assistance with this).
— Complete TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire.
