Mission

To awaken children to their own individuality and unfold their higher capacities of thinking, feeling and willing, thus creating a truly human world through an education that is a source of social change. Waldorf education reaches beyond content to freeing the human spirit.

Vision

Waldorf School of the Peninsula envisions a comprehensive school with a strong early childhood program and lower school, a distinct and rich middle school, and an enriching, diverse and fully developed high school in a physical environment that supports and enriches its program and mission.  The Waldorf School of the Peninsula community includes a comprehensive adult education program and cultural center that will enable Waldorf School of the Peninsula to be a strong pillar of inspiration that serves the greater Silicon Valley community and the Waldorf movement.
