Middle School Athletics

WSP offers a variety of after school team sports for our middle school students. Healthy physical activity is an important part of the overall middle and high school curriculum. After school teams provide additional opportunities for students to challenge themselves, compete, and experience team work in a safe, supportive environment. They are also a lot of fun! We are members of the Small Schools Independent League for middle school, and Associate Members of CIF-Central Coast Section for high school.

We are committed to inclusion and participation, so all of our sports are open to any student who commits to coming to practice and playing. Our coaches all place a heavy emphasis on sportsmanship. Our students are inspired to reach their athletic potential and show outstanding sportsmanship on and off the field. Our student athletes have the opportunity to learn team-building skills and develop healthy bodies for life. Athletes at WSP learn the importance of discipline, respect, and sportsmanship whatever the outcome of a game or race may be.

Middle school students are encouraged to join the established teams below. The WSP athletics program continues to grow, and students interested in other sports have the opportunity to advocate for and round up support for new initiatives.

The schools with whom we compete are of similar size and have a range of program experience and maturity. This allows for smaller schools such as WSP to play competitively.

Please contact our Athletic Director, Leona Rexhepi, if you have any questions about Athletics at WSP.
